Radio veteran Sherry Massaro began her career with Gee Communications in the late 90s. Her journey took her from Virginia to Nashville and back home to Virginia again. During her career she has had the opportunity to interview countless country music artists, sports figures, politicians and even a member of the royal family.
She has also worked for a country music icon during her time in Nashville and had the opportunity to launch the country music career of a WWE Wrestler.
Her journey has brought her full circle as she is the General Manager for Pure Country WSVS, owned by Gee Communications.
Megan Bagley, also known as "Southern Sass," got her start in the music industry growing up in the radio realm and through internships in Nashville in various music industry establishments.
She stepped behind the mic in 2019
and has enjoyed learning the ins and outs
of country radio.
She brings creative and fresh ideas and just the right amount of sass to the industry.

Greg Breeden has returned to Pure Country WSVS to bring back "The Drive Home!" He is a Virginia native and grew up in Fluvanna County.
Yes, he is a bonafide "Fluco!"
Greg's been on the air for nearly 40 years and has been heard on many radio stations in cities and towns here in the Commonwealth including Richmond, Charlottesville, Orange, Culpeper,
Staunton and Harrisonburg
just to name a few.
It's not uncommon to hear Greg's voice while traveling though other states.
He's been fortunate enough to have met, interviewed and even hung out with numerous country music stars
and other celebrities over the years.
Greg has a son, Brian and a beautiful Granddaughter, Callie Mae.
In his free time Greg enjoys spending time with friends and showing off his antique cars.

The Weekend Windup on Pure Country began with producing commercials for WSVS. Eventually, Angela was given the opportunity to work live on air Saturday mornings. Captain Mike joined the show almost a year ago giving the listeners even more to enjoy. “We are better together and have a great time at Pure Country sharing the news of the day and great music with our listeners
who we consider part of our family."
The music selections on The Weekend Windup tend to be something old, something new and something blue (bluegrass).
They do interviews with artists as well as share local community events say the couple. The legacy of WSVS is fascinating.

Larry Harlow was born in Virginia and raised in Louisa County.
After graduating from Liberty University with a degree in television and radio,
Larry got his first radio job
at Louisa radio station, WLSA.
He programmed gospel and country music shows throughout his radio career.
In 2017, Larry came to Pure Country WSVS playing country's greatest hits.
He's also known for the special programming he does for military and other holidays.
